Orthodontics + implantation + 20 ceramic restorations: full rehabilitation
The patient came to Allure Dental with a specific and seemingly straightforward request: replace one missing tooth with an implant. But a comprehensive diagnostic revealed — there wasn't enough space for the implant.
Additional findings:
- Bite irregularities
- Dental crowding and uneven arch
Placing the implant "as is" would have produced an unstable result. The Allure Dental team recommended starting with orthodontics — to create the right foundation for everything that followed.
Treatment
Stage 1 — Sanitation and surgical preparation
Full oral sanitation and extraction of wisdomteeth. Starting orthodontics without this would be inadvisable.
Stage 2 — Orthodontics (2 years)
Bite correction, arch alignment, and — most importantly — creating sufficient space for the implant. Orthodontic treatment lasted two years and resolved three problems at once: functional, aesthetic, and preparatory.
Stage 3 — Implantation
After orthodontic treatment was complete — implant placement in the area of the missing tooth.
There was now enough space, the bite was stable, and the adjacent teeth were correctly positioned.
Stage 4 — Full aesthetic rehabilitation
Having completed the orthodontic stage, the patient decided to go further — and undergo a full aesthetic rehabilitation of both arches. Total restoration with 20 ceramic restorations: individual selection of shade, shape, and size for each unit.
Result
A harmonious, functional, and aesthetic smile:
- Correct bite restored
- Sufficient space created and implant placed
- Ideal tooth shape and shade achieved
- Patient received a comprehensive solution, not a temporary fix
This case illustrates how a single request ("place an implant") can unfold into a complete transformation — when you start with proper diagnostics rather than a price list.
