Full upper arch restoration: endodontics + 10 ceramic veneers

The patient came to Allure Dental wanting to restore the aesthetics of her upper arch. Her main concerns were unevenness and unsatisfactory shape of the front teeth.

During examination, complications from previous treatment were discovered: poorly treated root canals in teeth 24 and 25, and a broken endodontic instrument lodged in tooth 12.

Cases like this require a clear sequence: functional issues first, aesthetics second.

Treatment

Stage 1 — Endodontic treatment under microscope

Root canal retreatment was performed under a surgical microscope. The canals were thoroughly cleaned, and the broken instrument — which had been inside the tooth for a long time — was successfully removed. The microscope allows precision that is simply unachievable with standard treatment.

Stage 2 — Preparation for aesthetic restoration

To achieve the correct gum contour, surgical crown lengthening was performed — both soft tissue and bone. In parallel, digital 3D scanning and computer smile design were completed. A 3D-printed mock-up was fabricated from an individual template, so the patient could preview the result before any restoration had begun.

Stage 3 — Placement of ceramic restorations

The final stage was the placement of 10 ceramic restorations on the upper jaw. Each unit was individually crafted in the dental laboratory, with precise attention to shade, shape, and occlusion.

Result

A harmonious, healthy, and natural appearance of the upper arch. All functional issues were fully resolved — combining functionality and aesthetics in every detail.
