Full rehabilitation: from cavities to 28 ceramic restorations
The patient came to Allure Dental with what seemed like a simple request — treat a cavity and place a filling. But after a comprehensive diagnostic involving therapists, surgeons, orthodontists, and prosthodontists, a different picture emerged: isolated interventions would produce temporary results, while the root causes of the problems would remain unresolved.
A full rehabilitation was needed to achieve a stable and long-lasting outcome.
Treatment
Пацієнтка погодилась на комплексний план — і розпочався великий шлях трансформації.
Stage 1 — Therapeutic preparation
Full oral sanitation: professional hygiene, treatment of all cavities, endodontic treatment and root canal retreatment under a microscope. A healthy foundation is a non-negotiable prerequisite for any further work.
Stage 2 — Surgery
Extraction of wisdom teeth and teeth that could not be preserved. Simultaneously — preparation for future implantation.
Stage 3 — Orthodontics (3 years)
Bite correction and alignment of all teeth into the correct position. Without this stage, the final restoration would have had neither functional nor aesthetic stability. Orthodontic treatment lasted 3 years — exactly as long as it takes to achieve a lasting result.
Stage 4 — Implantation
Restoration of missing teeth with dental implants. The implants were placed after orthodontic treatment was complete — once the bite and tooth positions were stable.
Stage 5 — 28 ceramic restorations
The final and most striking stage. Each of the 28 restorations was individually crafted: shade, shape, and size were selected with consideration for the bite, facial proportions, and the patient's wishes.
Result
Complete functional and aesthetic transformation: a healthy bite, harmonious tooth shape, and a natural smile that will serve her for years to come.
This case illustrates that the correct treatment sequence matters more than speed. Three years of work by a team of five specialists — and a result that cannot be achieved in one or two visits.
